Creative Design Manager

Description:

We have an opportunity for you to join our highly engaging and innovative Communications team as our new Creative Design Manager, where you’ll be responsible for leading our fantastic team of graphic designers.

Based at our Head Office in Coventry, you’ll be working in our busy design studio alongside an enthusiastic and hardworking team of designers, videographers, and copywriter to develop original, high-quality content that inspires, engages, and drives action.
You’ll take ownership of the design process, from creative concepts through to delivery, across all channels for both internal and external communications. In addition, you’ll act as custodian of our brand, ensuring all work that leaves the team is on brief, on brand, brilliantly designed and that we continue to evolve and challenge ourselves.

Some of your other key accountabilities will include:

• Managing a team of designers and creating a good rapport with stakeholders and external agency partners
• Working closely with our creative agency partners, to develop best in class creative solutions that are aligned with our brand identity
• Managing relationships with our freelance design roster – overseeing briefing and brand approvals
• Continually raising the bar on creativity, developing content that connects with our audience and drives action
• Pro-actively keeping up to date with design and content best practice to help inform future execution
• Undertaking regular reviews of our content to ensure that the brand is consistently applied across all our customer touchpoints
