Description:
Nexus Studios is seeking a highly organized and creatively driven Creative Pitch Coordinator/Manager to oversee the production of treatments and pitch materials, ensuring the highest creative standards are upheld. This role involves actively managing the full pitch lifecycle, sourcing and coordinating creative talent, and driving the creative process to support Nexus’ excellence in branded content and entertainment.
Key Responsibilities:
Pitch Production:
- Establish and refine the pitch process with the EP and CCO, ensuring clear responsibilities and deadlines.
- Facilitate effective communication to support creative and design development.
- Set up and coordinate pitch folders and tools through to project award.
- Maintain a pitch schedule, sourcing additional resources as needed.
- Manage and report pitch budgets, obtaining EP approval for costs.
- Attend production and EP meetings, sharing treatment insights.
- Host regular pitch meetings to review inquiries and processes.
Resourcing:
- Collaborate with the resourcing team to book staff and freelance crew.
- Develop and maintain a database of artists and crew.
- Track freelancer terms, contracts, and invoices.
Creative Development:
- Develop treatment strategies that align with creative goals.
- Support Directors with creative requirements, including image research.
- Source and collaborate with illustrators, designers, and art directors.
- Set up treatment decks and define their structure based on client briefs.
- Work with the Creative Director and treatment designers on layouts.
- Create capability decks and reels for new opportunities.
- Contribute to writing treatments where necessary.
- Inspire and support diverse creative teams, nurturing directing talent.
- Stay updated on creative trends, offering guidance and insights.
- Assist in curating content for the Nexus Studios website.
Requirements:
- Experience in the film or production industry, with a strong interest in animation.
- A keen eye for identifying creative talent, with an established network.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience in developing animation and film treatments.
- Exceptional attention to detail.
- Highly organized and proactive, capable of handling multiple projects.
- Ability to work from verbal briefs and collaborate effectively in teams or independently.
