Credit Data Manager

Description:

This role is an opportunity to be involved in the development of a new Credit Data Manager capability in Retail Credit at Bank of Ireland, improving data practice for Credit.

You will engage Retail and Commercial Credit teams, Product teams, and other data management experts at the Bank to facilitate positive change. Support a wide breadth of Credit initiatives and reporting, all with high levels of exposure up to UK Board level, working with Credit management colleagues.

In this role, you will:

• Be responsible for the management of data made available to Retail Credit in the execution of key Credit services into the business.

• Work with both Retail portfolios (car asset finance, unsecured loans, secured mortgages) and Business Banking portfolios.

• Work with the UK Data Centre and more broadly with Group Risk to progress data initiatives, strengthening Data Management practice as it services Credit initiatives and analysis.

What will make you stand out?

We are looking for someone with a wealth of SAS experience gained in a data management environment! Someone who has experience of dataset management and change, maintenance, governance, capacity planning and troubleshooting principles.

Experience with any of the following would be advantageous;

• Building OLAP data cubes
• Delivery of data visualisation tool applications, such as Power BI or Tableau
• Python
• Credit risk management
