Description:

B&Q is seeking a Customer Advisor for Checkouts at their Newtownabbey store. In this part-time role, you will be at the forefront of customer service, providing guidance and support to customers with their home improvement projects. As a key member of the team, your primary responsibility will be ensuring an excellent checkout experience while assisting with sales, click & collect services, and store displays.

You will become a knowledgeable advisor and an inspiration to customers, helping them create homes they’ll love. While the main focus will be on providing outstanding service at the tills, you will also have opportunities to train across various areas of the store and expand your skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver exceptional customer service at checkout points

  • Assist customers with purchases, click & collect, and inquiries

  • Support sales initiatives and maintain store displays

  • Keep the checkout area and store organized and visually appealing

  • Work collaboratively with team members to ensure smooth operations

  • Be flexible to work on a rota including weekends, evenings, and bank holidays

Candidate Requirements:

  • Willingness to learn new technology and ways of working

  • Team player with flexibility in working hours
