Customer Service Manager

 

Description:


As a Customer Service Manager, you will be the key customer contact in the plant to ensure customer intimacy and satisfaction. The areas you will focus on are customer satisfaction, on-time-deliver and inventory accuracy.

What will you be doing as a Customer Service Manager?

  • Establish and develop relationship with demand related contacts of key customers including proactive visiting the customer. Be key initial contact in the plant for the customer and initiate action by responsible people
  • Follow up on significant demand changes with customer contacts to improve our business intelligence
  • Follow-up and drive resolution of disputes on sales orders / deliveries / replacements to guarantee the best possible service level. Manage protocol for data exchange and electronic communication with customer
  • Check and follow-up changes in customer specific requirements and address to responsible people
  • Be accountable for warehouse management and inventory policies & accuracy in product lifecycle until EOP
  • Manage material handling from receiving to shipping with ensuring compliance to logistics protocol (e.g. customs, containers, carriers,...)
  • Establish and maintain appropriate internal capabilities and strengthen the organization (Succession Planning) through training, career development opportunities and recruiting as necessary to achieve Customer Service objectives
  • Leading a Safety first approach maintaining a zero accident culture. Ensures and monitors work, accident prevention and safe working environment across the business

 


To be successful in this role, you’ll need:

  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience at managerial level
  • Automotive experience
  • Experience in project management
  • Good understanding of LEAN principles, waste analysis, 5S, KANBAN, VSM, etc.
  • Methodical and analytical approach
  • Hands-on mentality
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Collaborative and proactive leadership style
  • Working knowledge of MS Office and ERP systems
