Candid Hire is recruiting on behalf of a well-established and fast-growing logistics company based in Hull for the position of Customer Service Team Leader. This role is ideal for individuals who thrive in dynamic environments and have a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences.
As a Customer Service Lead, you will take ownership of leading and developing a dedicated team in a busy logistics setting. This is a pivotal role where you will ensure high levels of service delivery, act as the first point of escalation for customer issues, and drive operational performance.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead, coach, and develop a small team within the customer service function
Act as the go-to person for daily operational support and issue resolution
Monitor KPIs, identify trends, and implement improvements
Collaborate with logistics partners, internal departments, and clients to ensure seamless service
Continuously drive improvements in process efficiency and customer satisfaction
Working Hours:
Full-time: Monday – Friday, 08:00 – 16:30 (40 hours/week)
Flexibility required for occasional weekend or Bank Holiday work
Candidate Profile:
Proven leadership in a customer service role, preferably within logistics or supply chain sectors
Strong problem-solving and interpersonal communication skills
Comfortable handling escalations and leading a team toward service excellence
