We're looking for a Data & AI Specialist to join our team. You'll work as a discipline lead within cross-functional distributed teams, using data and AI technologies to create impactful solutions. We're looking for someone able to use data and AI to transform businesses and improve people's lives.
As a Data & AI Specialist, you'll be at the forefront of our data initiatives, bringing a mix of technical expertise and strategic thinking to help guide our organisation's data and AI efforts. You'll play a crucial role in mentoring team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning, and helping our clients understand the value and applications of data-driven technologies.
What you are responsible for
- Leading the development and implementation of data and AI strategies across projects
- Designing and overseeing the creation of data pipelines, machine learning models, and AI-powered solutions
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate data and AI capabilities into existing products and services
- Mentoring and upskilling team members in data science and AI technologies
- Ensuring best practices in data governance, privacy, and ethical AI development
- Contributing to business development efforts by helping to identify and pursue data and AI opportunities
- Collaborating with the wider Futurice Data and AI community and growing the Data/AI practice in the UK
Some of the things we expect to see
Technical skills
- Strong foundation in data science, machine learning, and AI concepts
- Hands-on experience with data analysis, visualization, and modeling tools (e.g., Python, R, SQL)
- Familiarity with cloud-based data and AI platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Understanding of GenAI technologies and applications, e.g.:
- Large Language Models (LLMs)
- Natural Language Processing (NLP)
- Computer Vision
- Generative Models (e.g., GANs, Diffusion Models)
- RAG solutions
- Some experience with data engineering concepts and tools
- Knowledge of software development practices and version control systems (e.g., Git)
