Finex Advisory, a dynamic financial and strategic advisory firm, is seeking a Data Analyst to join their growing team on a project-based, remote basis. Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and data visualizations using Power BI and Excel.

• Prepare and analyze management accounts, including profit and loss statements and financial summaries.

• Support financial modeling and KPI tracking to help clients monitor business performance and identify growth opportunities.

• Ensure all analysis and reporting maintain high levels of accuracy, clarity, and consistency.

• Collaborate closely with senior partners to deliver analytical insights that drive strategic and financial decisions.

• Organize and interpret large datasets to identify trends and performance drivers.

• Support ongoing improvements to data processes and reporting frameworks across multiple client engagements.

Candidate Requirements:

Essential Skills & Qualifications:

• 1–2 years of experience in data analysis, finance, or a related analytical role.

• Strong command of Microsoft Excel (including dashboards, pivot tables, formulas, and automation).

• Proficiency in Power BI, including data modeling, DAX formulas, and interactive report design.

• Understanding of management accounts, financial statements, and P&L preparation.

• Ability to work independently in a remote environment while meeting deadlines and maintaining quality.

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with attention to detail.

Desirable Skills:

• Exposure to financial services, professional services, or private equity environments.

• Experience producing KPI-driven dashboards and data reports for senior stakeholders.

• Analytical mindset with the ability to simplify complex data for clear business insight.
