Data Analyst Coach

Versende Ltd, one of the UK’s leading Apprenticeship Training Providers, is seeking a Data Analyst Coach / Mentor to join their data delivery team. This fully remote, permanent role focuses on teaching and assessing Level 4 Data Analytics apprentices, supporting learners to gain the British Computer Society’s (BCS) Data Analyst qualification and BCS Diploma in Data Analysis Tools and Concepts.

As a Data Analyst Coach / Mentor, you will guide apprentices through their learning journey, helping them develop practical skills to execute detailed investigations, perform analysis, and provide actionable insights for their employers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support apprentices in creating portfolios demonstrating their ability to carry out tasks at the correct level for the qualification.

• Teach apprentices to collect data from various systems, ensure compliance with data and security standards, perform database queries, and identify trends and patterns.

• Assist with data quality checking, cleansing, summarizing, presenting, and making recommendations from data analysis results.

• Manage a caseload of learners, plan monthly visits, and monitor learner progress using Avado systems.

• Engage with stakeholders, including clients, apprenticeship program leads, line managers, and internal delivery teams.

• Monitor and manage delivery KPIs, escalating issues as needed.

Experience & Skills Required:

• Significant Data Analyst industry experience.

• Passion for upskilling apprentices and developing learners.

• Commitment to sharing knowledge and mentoring the next generation of Data Analysts.

Desirable Qualifications & Skills:

• Degree-level qualification in a technical subject.

• Dell EMC Data Science Associate Certificate.

• BCS Diploma in Data Analysis Concepts.

• Assessor qualifications (A1, TAQA, CAVA, D32, D33).

• Experience with apprenticeship standards and end-point assessment processes.

• Familiarity with e-portfolio systems and supporting learners with maths and English.

• Data Technician industry experience is a plus.
