Description:

Radius is seeking a highly skilled and dynamic Data Analytics Manager to lead its Data Analyst team and drive reporting excellence across the organisation. This is a crucial leadership role responsible for delivering high-quality reporting capabilities through tools such as Tableau, Sisense, and Salesforce, while also influencing and delivering strategic data goals for 8 divisions and embedded business analyst teams.

This hands-on role requires exceptional leadership, stakeholder management, and technical expertise. Based at the modern Radius Campus in Crewe, the Data Analytics Manager will work closely with Data Engineering colleagues and other departments to standardise metrics, improve self-service reporting, automate processes, and enhance overall data maturity across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead, manage, and coach the Data Analyst team, ensuring delivery of personal tasks and key projects.
  • Oversee day-to-day team operations including Sprints and Service Desk, collaborating closely with Data Engineering colleagues.
  • Own and manage the Data Analyst project roadmap, identifying, shaping, and delivering reporting services projects, while managing stakeholders and ensuring successful process transformation and technical delivery.
  • Drive strategic initiatives to enhance data maturity, including improving Tableau adoption, standardising metrics, and reducing data silos across divisions.
  • Support the Head of DS&R to optimise the performance and efficiency of the Data, Science & Reporting function.
  • Maintain a suite of rigorously controlled Radius-certified reports across Salesforce, Tableau, and Sisense.
  • Set performance goals for team members, conduct regular performance reviews, and provide coaching to enhance individual and team capabilities.
  • Collaborate with Data Engineering to ensure datasets are designed to meet evolving reporting needs.
  • Establish, measure, and continuously improve quality assurance (QA) standards for data and reporting within the team.

  • Proven experience leading Data Analyst teams, with a strong background in project management and technical delivery.
  • Excellent SQL skills and hands-on expertise in data visualisation tools (preferably Tableau).
  • Strong strategic thinker with a deep understanding of business operations and data-driven decision making.
  • Passionate, ambitious, and results-oriented, setting high standards and adapting to changing business priorities when necessary.
  • Advocate for automated self-service reporting, driven by single sources of truth and underpinned by technical excellence.
