Data Business Analyst

Description:

Key Responsibilities:

SQL - must be able to interrogate data e.g., select and joins, aggregations etc.

The following duties and responsibilities are applicable:

• Create process documentation/workflows and self-service guidance

• Collect and document of business requirements for project and process improvement/automation efforts

• Facilitate process workflow modelling in order to collaborate on process improvements, automation capabilities and clearly defined end-to-end use cases

• Support planning of the delivery

• Review information to ensure that the output of processes are achieving the desired outcomes

• Conduct maturity assessments against the process activities to highlight areas of improvement or concerns

• Identify issues and risks

• Bring inconsistencies and problems to the attention of management

• Participate in the problem resolution

• Track major incident management process and ensure adherence of the process and escalation requirements within the various support and delivery areas

• Prepare incident details for post-mortem incident reviews

• Extract reports and provide a high-level analysis of data for review

• Maintain a complete understanding of and adheres to all Talbot policies and processes

Requirements:

The following are key prerequisites needed for the role:

• 5+ years working experience as a Business Analyst including experience in process improvement methodologies e.g. Lean

• Great analytical skills with experience collecting, organizing, analysing, and disseminating abundant information with accuracy

• Prior experience with creation of performance management processes (preferred but no mandatory)

• Prior experience in Lloyds Insurance

• Able to work with minimal supervision

• Excellent organizational and time management skills
