Data Engineer

Description:

My client are seeking a Data Engineer to own the design and implementation of data solutions, with previous expertise in data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes from a variety of sources, including websites, PDFs, and real-time data streams.

Responsibilities:

• As a Data Engineer, you will design, build and continuously optimise extremely scalable and performant data pipelines.
• Architect and implement data ingestion, transformation, and storage processes.
• Develop and maintain real-time data processing systems.
• Keep up with market developments in the data space and implement new technologies to improve data efficiency and quality.

Requirements and Skills:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering (or other related STEM subject).
• 5+ years experience in data engineering.
• Proficient in SQL.
• Experience with SQL Server (and other database technologies).
• Strong programming skills with Python, C++ is beneficial.
• Experience with Cloud Services.
