Data Engineer

An AI intelligence platform is looking for a Data Engineer, ready to take their career to the next level 📊

Reporting directly to the Head of Data, you'll be coached and mentored by an experienced data leader, helping you develop at an accelerated pace. You'll be working alongside another (less experienced) Data Engineer and expected to lead by example.

In this role, you will design and implement data solutions, create efficient data pipelines, and

develop systems to ingest and analyse large volumes of data. The ideal candidate will have a

proven track record of developing web scrapers, working with Python, and leveraging tools like

Google BigQuery for data storage and analytics - this role would be perfect for someone looking to progress into a Senior/Lead Engineer.

✅ Must have requirements:

• Strong proficiency in Python and SQL
• Extensive experience with GCP and Big Query, including schema design and query optimisation
• Strong understanding of ETL pipelines and data transformation principles
• Experience with version control tools (e.g. GitHub)
• Experience with containerisation (e.g. Docker) and orchestration (e.g. Kubernetes, Airflow, DBT)
