Description:
Working and liaising with local market teams who are using OMGs Omni PlanIt media planning and investment application to track their briefed and planned media spend and activity.
The data captured from PlanIt enables the client to identify where they are spending their advertising budget by market, brand, product, and supplier, and is presented back to key stakeholders in a report format. The output relies on clean, complete, and accurate data.
The Data Ops Analyst will be central to ensuring the data captured is in a usable format which meets a high level of compliance in line with pre-defined business logic and will with the local market teams to guide them to areas where data is erroneous or absent and to ensure timeliness in completion of the plans.
Additionally, local markets will be creating digital campaigns deploying ‘activation strings’ which need to follow a structure and defined taxonomy with associated naming conventions. This data again needs to be clean and accurate to ensure that the Performance Reports are populated with accurate and insightful data.
The Data Ops Analyst, working with non-compliance reports, will support local market teams in identifying where errors occur and guide them to implement corrections.
The role also requires monitoring of the Jira service desk on the account and respond to or escalate tickets relating to data operations tools and processes.
This role is a valuable and essential cornerstone to the Data Operations processes.
