Data Product Manager

Description:

Harnham is recruiting for a Data Product Manager – Business Intelligence on behalf of a growing financial services firm building out its in-house data and analytics capability. This is a hybrid role based in London, offering the chance to lead BI product development, shaping the future of data reporting and decision-making across the business.

Key Responsibilities:

• Own and manage the BI product roadmap aligned with strategic business goals

• Collaborate with a skilled team of BI developers and data engineers to develop scalable data solutions

• Act as the central link between technical teams and stakeholders, ensuring that complex financial reporting requirements are translated into actionable data products

• Lead initiatives involving Power BI, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), SQL, and Looker (currently under evaluation)

• Guide prioritization, delivery schedules, and integration of BI tools across departments

• Directly report to the Co-founder and work closely with the Lead Data Engineer

Ideal Candidate Profile:

• Demonstrated experience managing data products, particularly in BI and analytics environments

• Industry expertise in financial services, with a deep understanding of financial reporting

• Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with Power BI, GCP, SQL, and preferably some Python

• Track record of successful stakeholder engagement, adoption strategies, and delivery of high-impact dashboards or reporting systems

• Ability to lead in both strategic planning and technical execution

• Available to start within 6 weeks or less
