As a Data Scientist, you’ll have the opportunity to work closely with the Head of Data Science on high-impact, cross-functional projects, applying AI technologies to real-world financial data and business challenges. You’ll play a pivotal role in building, deploying, and scaling AI applications that improve operational efficiency and business decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and deploy AI-driven tools and solutions that enhance operational processes and unlock actionable insights from unstructured data.

• Utilize natural language processing (NLP) and generative AI models, such as RAG pipelines and open-source LLMs (e.g., LLaMA, Mistral, Qwen), to analyze and interpret complex datasets.

• Work collaboratively with various departments to understand AI use cases and deliver tailored solutions that address specific business needs.

• Evaluate new AI models and frameworks for integration into existing systems, ensuring scalability and performance.

• Develop interactive tools and APIs using FastAPI, Streamlit, or Gradio to support user access and application deployment.

• Collaborate with data engineers and infrastructure teams to optimize the use of GPU-based AI environments, Docker containers, and data pipelines.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional experience in data science, particularly in machine learning, NLP, and large language models.

• Deep knowledge of Python and related AI libraries.

• Experience working with open-source LLMs and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) frameworks.

• Proficiency in building APIs and user interfaces using tools like FastAPI, Streamlit, or Gradio.

• Strong understanding of AI infrastructure, including Docker, GPU usage, and distributed processing.

• Ability to process and analyze unstructured data sources such as emails, scanned documents (OCR), and PDFs.

• Familiarity with SQL, Git, and various data formats for effective data management and version control.
