We are seeking a talented Sensors and Data Technician to join our innovative team at Energy House 2.0. In this role, you will play a crucial part in supporting the technical needs of Energy House Labs, ensuring the smooth operation and development of our infrastructure. Your expertise will be instrumental in maintaining and improving our hardware and software systems, contributing to our mission of advancing energy efficiency and sustainability research.

Key Responsibilities
 

• Work alongside the Solutions Architect Technician in the delivery of development of the technical infrastructure requirement for undertaking business and research assists. This may include support for the delivery of tests and data collection from the field.
• Undertake maintenance on the Energy House Labs technical infrastructure according to agreed procedures.
• Contribute to the collection of evidence during formal audits, review of activities, processes, data, products or services related to the Energy House Labs technical infrastructure.

Energy House Laborations is a rapidly growing research unit in the University of Salford's School of Science, Engineering and Environment. We have developed a strong reputation for high quality, industry-focused research and have a national presence in areas such as building physics, domestic energy systems and smart and connected homes. We have a number of unique facilities; Energy House 1, Energy House 2.0, the Salford Energy House and the Smart Meters Smart Homes Laboratory.
