Demand Insights Associate Director

 

Description:

The Digital and Demand Generation team at S&P Global Ratings is focused on driving online engagement and generating high-quality leads through strategic digital marketing, leveraging data-driven insights, advanced technologies, and multi-channel strategies including SEO, social media, and paid advertising.

Reporting to the Director of Demand Insights, the Associate Director will lead analytics efforts and provide customer and demand insights for data-driven decision-making. This role involves strategic influence over marketing performance, innovation, and global impact.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement analytics strategies to track customer behavior, content engagement, and marketing effectiveness.

  • Coordinate analytics needs organization-wide, identifying data requirements and delivering actionable insights.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate analytics across digital platforms including public websites and proprietary tools.

  • Develop and maintain analytics frameworks and KPIs, ensuring accurate tracking and reporting.

  • Use advanced statistical and data analysis techniques to identify trends and opportunities.

  • Implement and optimize marketing attribution models.

  • Integrate AI and predictive analytics tools within the marketing technology stack.

  • Drive development and automation of dashboards and reports for stakeholders.

  • Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging analytics technologies.

  • Manage relationships with internal and external data and analytics partners.


Candidate Profile:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing Analytics, Statistics, Data Science, Psychology, or related fields.

  • 5-7+ years experience in web analytics, Adobe Analytics, marketing automation platforms (e.g., Pardot, Marketo), and CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce).

  • Proficiency in data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.

  • Experience with Customer Data Platforms, predictive analytics, and statistical tools (R, Python) is a plus.

  • Strong business acumen with ability to translate data into actionable marketing insights.

  • Excellent communication skills for conveying complex analytics clearly.

  • Detail-oriented, organized, and capable of managing multiple projects.

  • Desire for continuous learning and professional growth.
