Deputy Operations Manager

Description:

Certikin International is looking for a Deputy Operations Manager join our team in Leeds to work closely with our Operations Manager to manage the day to day running of the manufacturing facility. Certikin International is a brand leader that delivers everything that is required to build, refurbish & maintain residential and commercial swimming pools and spa/wellness centres. 

Your role will be part office based, part factory based as you will need to work closely with the Operations Manager, assisting with some Computer Aided Design (CAD) of our pool liners as well as overseeing three main production areas in our large modern manufacturing facility. You will need to be responsible for stock management as well as taking a hands-on approach to learning the three sections, liners, covers and spa-covers to enable you to fully assist with manufacturing if needed.

To be considered for this role, we are looking for a strong leader with excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a proven track record of supervising people in a production environment. As a business that prides itself on high standards of Health and Safety, we are looking for someone with clear Health and safety awareness, with NEBOSH qualification or knowledge of ISO 14001 as a clear advantage.
