W Talent is seeking an experienced Design Engineer to join a cutting-edge engineering team based in Birmingham, working on some of the most innovative automation projects in the UK. This is an exciting opportunity to design, develop, and implement advanced jigs, fixtures, and semi- to fully automated production systems for high-performance industries such as automotive and aerospace.

As a Design Engineer, you will play a key role in shaping the future of manufacturing through automation, working on state-of-the-art systems and contributing to the delivery of technically advanced solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and model automation components using SolidWorks

• Create production-ready designs for jigs, fixtures, and automated systems

• Work closely with mechanical, electrical, and manufacturing teams to integrate systems

• Solve engineering challenges related to functionality, cost, and efficiency

• Engage with clients from concept to final delivery

• Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards and safety regulations
