Design Verification Engineer

I am seeking 2 Verification Engineers for my clients growing Design verification team. These 2 hires have been approved based upon recent growth. As a business my client are market leaders and have over 1000 employees in the UK alone!

This role is to be based in Bristol, a beautiful city straddling the river Avon in the southwest of England with a prosperous maritime history.

You will join and be part of the Broadband & Video Group which produces designs for a number of company broadband access businesses: including PON, Set Top Box and Cable Modem.

Specific responsibilities include owning all aspects of verification through test plan specification, test/testbench implementation and debug. Although the role is based in the Verification Team, they value flexibility in all of their engineering staff, and there will be opportunities to extend experience into other front end work such as RTL design, processor design, chip integration and emulation.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s degree or higher in a technology related field is required.
• Advanced verification techniques, especially: constrained random verification, formal verification and Code coverage and functional coverage
• C/C++
• UVM
• RTL design, Verilog/SystemVerilog preferred
• RTL and gate level simulation and debug
• Previous experience with communications technologies (PON, Ethernet…) would be desirable.

Please Note: This role requires Engineers to be already eligible and already living in the UK (Visa’s for candidates in the UK can be transferred) if you are outside of office location (Bristol or Cambridge) you must be prepared to relocate to Bristol. If in Cambridge you may work from the Cambridge office.
