Developer - Php

Description:

• Develop and deliver bug fixes, minor enhancements, and new features for our iCOM product
• Triage and problem solve new issues that occur within the system
• Contribute to the effective design of new features and solutions
• Contribute to the quality assurance effort, through use of unit tests
• Work closely with the product manager and IT manager to deliver timely products and enhancements
• In support of this role and product development within the team, regular research into the employee voluntary and members benefits market is essential (e.g., market product trends and competitor offerings, with a view to identifying new opportunities and ideas)
• If necessary, assist in system maintenance in AWS environment

Requirements

• 2+ years of PHP (v7+) and other skills including
  • Object Oriented Programming
  • MySQL
  • JQuery, JavaScript, Ajax, CSS, HTML
• Also, with desired Skills in if possible:
  • LAMP Stack
  • Git
  • MVC Frameworks
  • Linux Servers on AWS
  • Mobile Development (App & responsive)
  • APIs
  • C#
  • Angular
• Ability to work independently on projects as needed
• Hard working, enthusiastic, personable, team orientated
• Strong emphasis on teamwork due to the culture of the business and our product
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Experience within the Perks and Benefit, or HR Tech industry is a plus (but not a must)
