Description:
Digital account managers work within the Digital Team to help translate technical campaign results to our clients. Working across PPC, Paid Social, Programmatic, SEO (and all other digital channels) you will support the Head of Digital to develop digital marketing strategies to hit our clients' business objectives & more importantly, be able to translate that to clients.
You are commercially minded and client-focused. Your role here is to act as the in-house marketing manager ensuring we’re best of our work, and making sure the client knows that value of that work in supporting them hit their objectives.
Working with...
· Internal: Digital team (Paid Digital, SEO, Freelancers, Head of Digital)
· External: Client Marketing team; Client Data team; Search engines; Analytics platforms.
· Digital Account Managers will report to the Head of Digital.
Responsible for...
· Understanding the strengths and weaknesses of each channel to best advise clients where to spend for certain objectives.
· Develop strategies and oversee the implementation of digital marketing strategies across relevant channels.
· Talking and listening to clients to then translate their needs into a planned digital strategy
· Confidence to work with clients to manage their expectations of results
· Translating and presenting technical campaign performance to relevant stakeholders.
· Supporting the Head of Digital & MD with new business pitches.
· Collecting data to analyse how campaigns are performing to get the best possible return from a client’s investment using a variety of metrics.
· Conducting in-depth research into audience targeting based on the clients' objectives e.g. keyword research, behaviour targeting, retargeting etc.
· Maintaining and showing avid interest in pushing their knowledge of industry best practices, new technologies and new channels.
· Identifying growth strategies to build our clients.
· Working collaboratively with the Head of Digital and MD to interrogate client briefs, by challenging and asking questions, to develop communications briefs that meet business needs in an effective and accountable way.
· Identifying cross-sell and upsell opportunities across the entire agency portfolio; the digital team has financially remunerated growth targets which this role would contribute towards (& be rewarded for).
