Digital Lead

Description:

Mott MacDonald Bentley (MMB), a joint venture between civil engineering contractor JN Bentley and Mott MacDonald, is seeking a Digital Lead to accelerate digital transformation across its operations. The role focuses on embedding digital processes and technologies across MMB and JNB businesses, driving measurable adoption and business impact.

As a Digital Lead, you will work at the forefront of digital delivery in design and construction, coaching teams on tools like mobile applications for quality assurance, construction-ready BIM models, and other digital solutions. You will support operational teams on live construction sites, contribute to bid preparation, analyse business processes, and propose improvements to enhance digital adoption and optimisation.

The role also involves supporting clients in their digital transformation by understanding their needs and ensuring business initiatives align with desired outcomes. You will be a visible expert resource, working across MMB and JN Bentley teams, with access to cutting-edge hardware and software to deliver innovative digital solutions.

Skills & Experience Required:

• Experience delivering projects using digital technology

• Specialism or strong interest in areas such as BIM, GIS, digital construction, data analytics, automation, or other digital tools

• Knowledge of contemporary digital trends and ability to translate them into real-world business opportunities

• Ability to engage and influence diverse stakeholders, from site teams to directors

• Familiarity with project technology landscapes and key platforms in digital construction
