Digital Platform Intern

Description:

Perigon Partners, a sustainability-focused strategy consultancy, is offering an 8-week, full-time internship starting from 1 July 2025 (flexible on start/end dates). This hybrid opportunity (with in-office presence twice a week in Edinburgh or Midlothian) provides the chance to transform a static benchmarking report into an intuitive, automated digital platform to help UK financial institutions enhance sustainability performance.

Internship Objective:
To design and build a user-friendly, low/no-code digital tool that automates data collection and reporting processes related to the firm’s annual sustainability benchmarking report. The tool will directly support the company’s impact, scalability, and internal efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and prototype a digital benchmarking platform based on existing data

• Evaluate and recommend optimal low/no-code tools (e.g., Notion, Airtable, Glide, Bubble)

• Automate ongoing data collection processes for future reports

• Leverage AI/document automation to extract key insights from institutional annual reports

• Develop a smooth and secure user interface, incorporating login protection

• Assist with UX testing, basic branding, and visual content organization

Ideal Skills and Interests:

• Strong familiarity with no-code/automation platforms like Zapier

• Interest in sustainability, strategy consulting, and/or financial services

• High attention to detail and self-driven work ethic

• Resourceful and tech-savvy, even without formal coding experience

Duration & Compensation:

• Full-time for 8 weeks (starting 1 July)

• £4,105 total compensation (includes National Living Wage and holiday pay)
