Description:
Harnham is seeking an experienced Senior Digital Product Analyst to join a global retail client based in London. This role is ideal for an analytics professional with a strong background in digital product performance, user behaviour, and data-driven strategy who wants to play a pivotal role in shaping the online experience for millions of customers.
As a Senior Digital Product Analyst, you will lead a small team of analysts and act as the key stakeholder for all digital analytics initiatives related to user behaviour, product performance, and optimisation. You will collaborate with product, design, and technology teams to deliver actionable insights that influence strategic business decisions across web and mobile platforms.
Lead and mentor a small team of two analysts, ensuring both team performance and professional growth.
Own and manage analytics related to on-site and in-app user behaviour to drive understanding of user journeys and engagement patterns.
Identify opportunities for digital optimisation, leveraging data to assess potential impacts of new features or product enhancements.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management, UX design, user testing, and development, to integrate data-driven insights into every stage of product development.
Define and maintain a roadmap for analytics data capture and enrichment, working with analytics implementation teams.
Use experimentation and A/B testing methodologies to evaluate feature success and measure the impact of product changes.
Present insights and strategic recommendations to senior stakeholders, adapting your communication style for technical and non-technical audiences.
Proven experience in digital, product, or web analytics, ideally within a retail or eCommerce setting.
Proficiency in Google Analytics or Adobe Analytics for behavioural tracking and reporting.
Strong command of SQL (essential) and working knowledge of R or Python (preferred).
Expertise in data visualisation tools such as Power BI, Looker, or Tableau.
Experience leading or mentoring analysts, driving both individual and team development.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to influence decision-making across departments.
Strong understanding of Customer Data Platforms (CDPs) and their use in enhancing user journey insights.
