Description:
We are currently seeking Digital Technology Regulatory Lawyers in the UK to support Axiom’s global clients on legal and regulatory matters across the digital technology landscape, including cybersecurity, online safety, AI governance, data privacy, platform regulation, digital resilience, and other emerging technologies.
Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic legal and regulatory advice on digital technology matters, including cybersecurity, online safety, AI governance, data privacy, platform regulation, digital services, and emerging technology frameworks.
- Monitor, interpret, and advise on regulatory developments, assessing their impact on business operations, products, policies, reporting obligations, compliance requirements, and risk exposure.
- Support the design, implementation, and enhancement of compliance frameworks, governance processes, regulatory policies, contract clauses, templates, and internal guidance across digital and technology regulatory areas.
- Partner with legal, compliance, product, risk, policy, commercial, and operational teams to support cross-functional regulatory initiatives, training, stakeholder engagement, and risk mitigation strategies.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Experience advising on digital, technology, data, cybersecurity, AI, online safety, platform regulation, or broader regulatory compliance matters, gained in-house or within a law firm environment.
- Strong understanding of digital regulatory frameworks relevant to technology businesses, including cybersecurity, AI governance, online trust and safety, privacy, digital platforms, operational resilience, and emerging technology regulation.
- Familiarity with key legislation and regulatory frameworks such as GDPR, ePrivacy, EU Digital Services Act, EU AI Act, EU Digital Markets Act, UK Online Safety Act, NIS2, DORA, and critical third-party regimes.
- Excellent legal and commercial judgment, with strong analytical, drafting, communication, stakeholder management, and cross-functional advisory skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
