Our client is a leading advisory firm with a strong reputation in providing transaction support to investors, corporates, and high-growth businesses. With a growing focus on the life sciences and healthcare sectors, the firm supports clients across the full deal lifecycle, from due diligence to value creation and integration.

We are seeking an experienced Transaction Services Director to lead and expand the firm’s life sciences and healthcare transactions practice in London. The successful candidate will bring deep technical expertise in financial due diligence and transaction advisory, combined with sector knowledge and client leadership skills. This individual will play a key role in shaping the practice, winning and delivering engagements, and mentoring a growing team.

 

Key Responsibilities:

Client Leadership & Business Development

  • Develop and manage relationships with private equity, corporate, and healthcare clients.
  • Lead business development initiatives, including origination, proposals, and thought leadership.
  • Identify growth opportunities within the life sciences and healthcare sectors.

Deal Execution

  • Lead financial due diligence and transaction advisory assignments.
  • Provide commercial insight into sector dynamics, risks, and value drivers.
  • Manage complex cross-border transactions and liaise with specialists (tax, valuation, regulatory).
  • Deliver clear, concise, and actionable reports to clients and stakeholders.

Practice Leadership

  • Build the profile of the Life Sciences & Healthcare transactions offering in London.
  • Contribute to sector strategy, knowledge development, and market positioning.
  • Recruit, coach, and mentor junior team members to strengthen capability and capacity.
  • Ensure high-quality standards and risk management across all engagements.

 

Key Requirements:

  • ACA/CA qualified or equivalent, with significant experience in transaction services.
  • Proven track record of operating at Director or Senior Manager/AD level in a Big 4, top-tier consultancy, or specialist advisory firm.
  • Strong sector expertise in life sciences and healthcare, with demonstrable deal exposure.
  • Established network of private equity, corporate, and investor clients active in the sector.
  • Strong technical and commercial acumen with the ability to identify value drivers and risks.
  • Experience leading large, complex deals, ideally cross-border.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and influencing skills.
