The Role

As Director, you will be a key member of the leadership team, responsible for both client delivery and business development. This is a senior-level, client-facing position with opportunities to make a real impact on the firm’s continued growth.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Leading a significant client portfolio, delivering high-quality accounts and advisory services.
  • Acting as a trusted advisor to clients, providing strategic and commercial guidance.
  • Driving business development, networking, and winning new work to support the firm’s growth objectives.
  • Managing, mentoring, and developing senior staff to strengthen the firm’s future leadership pipeline.
  • Working closely with Partners to set and deliver strategic goals.
  • Ensuring compliance with professional and regulatory standards.
  • Identifying opportunities to expand services and add value to clients.
  • Representing the firm externally, building relationships across the regional business community.

 

About You

The successful candidate will:

  • Be ACA/ACCA qualified (or equivalent) with substantial post-qualification experience.
  • Have proven experience in a senior management role within accountancy practice.
  • Be commercially astute with a track record of winning and developing business.
  • Demonstrate strong technical knowledge across accounts and advisory.
  • Possess excellent leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and develop a high-performing team.
  • Be a confident communicator with the ability to build strong professional networks and long-term client relationships.
  • Have the ambition and drive to play a key role in the growth of a leading firm.
