A Business Development Director's primary responsibility is to assume overall responsibility for sales, profitability, and client satisfaction in support of strategic sales goals.
- Responsibilities include:
- Meet with prospects/clients and deliver sales presentations. Create customized project proposals and cost estimates. Negotiate and close deals. Ensure a high level of client satisfaction
- Aggressively pursue new business opportunities with prospective as well as existing clients
- Work closely and in conjunction with the Senior Project Manager during the creation of project proposals and project launches
- Keep abreast of industry trends and developments in vertical markets; look for new ways to grow business within vertical markets
- Develop and implement sales initiatives
- Achieve sales quota in order to meet and exceed established minimum
- Provide open, clear two-way communication at all corporate and client levels to ensure alignment with strategic sales goals
- Qualifications include:
- Superior written and spoken communication skills
- Bachelor's Degree (or its equivalent) or higher
- Knowledge of the Internet and related technologies
- Willingness to learn new things, be open to challenges, and thrive on success
