Underpinning this ambition is the need for the whole system to develop and establish ways of working together that represent a systematic, evidence based approach to clinical transformation and continuous improvement aligned to its strategic aims and objectives.

To deliver this vision, we have a new and exciting opportunity for a highly experienced and inspiring leader to join the Chief Medical Officer and the wider senior clinical leadership team within the ICS to shape the approach to clinical transformation across Hampshire and Isle of Wight. This will include bringing together existing local best practice, and learning, evidence and experience of high performing systems and industries nationally and internationally.

As the Director of Insight and Improvement, you will report directly to the Chief Medical Officer and will work collaboratively with senior stakeholders across the system to lead the design and delivery of the long term strategy and operational framework for clinical transformation and continuous improvement. You will support the system to challenge traditional methods and develop an enquiring and aspiring approach to deliver large scale transformation which improves clinical outcomes and provides our population with the healthcare they deserve.
To be the successful candidate you must be able to build and maintain strong relationships and work effectively with colleagues both internally and externally including key stakeholders across Primary Care, Community Services, Secondary Care, Local Authorities including Public Health and the voluntary sector.

You should have experience of leading change at a senior level and an understanding of models of transformation from the UK and abroad. In addition, you will have a strong proven record of designing and delivering transformational projects, implementing new organisation wide operating models in a complex system and have experience of working with national and international health care systems, experts and leaders in transformation and leadership of improvement.

You will also need excellent communication and engagement skills, an adaptive, motivating leadership style and the ability to work within a rapidly changing and ambiguous environmenr
