Description:

Supporting the IT Director providing expertise to help deliver strategic objectives collaborating with senior stakeholders across the organisation both globally and locally to enable optimal performance of IT. This role will manage a large team enabling the development of people to meet the changing needs of IT and also be responsible for the graduate recruitment and development programme.

What you'll be doing

 

 

  • Establish and lead the effective management and delivery of the UK capital and operational budgets, leading all planning cycles including business plan, annual budgeting and operational plans which supports the delivery of strategic financial and performance metrics
  • Manage and lead the effective monitoring and communication of performance through various channels for all financial, operational and programme delivery areas, whilst effectively collaborating with senior stakeholders across the Group
  • Lead the implementation of new tools and processes to ensure best practice in financial, supplier and Programme and project delivery
  • Lead the transformation of professionals to different ways of working to optimise performance in financial, programme, vendor and practise management ultimately improving both IT performance and customer satisfaction
  • Lead and manage the ongoing investment cycle through consolidation and prioritisation of proposals which optimises value to its customers, aligning technology with business outcomes and efficiency
  • Manage the resource planning strategy breaking down SILOs to connect teams and portfolios to enable optimisation and leverage of resources
  • Establish and lead the vendor management framework optimising strategies for supplier negotiation and management and effective contract renewals
