Description:
A pioneering and research-driven pharmaceutical organization, renowned for its contributions to personalized healthcare and tailored pharmaceutical and diagnostic products, is seeking a Disease Level Partner (DLP) to join its Ophthalmology division. Covering regions across Suffolk, Essex, Hertfordshire, and Kent, this hybrid role places the successful candidate at the strategic forefront of regional healthcare engagement.
The DLP will play a critical role in aligning local strategic efforts with overarching disease and business objectives. By deeply understanding patient pathways, product portfolios, and regional healthcare dynamics, the DLP drives patient-centric outcomes, ensuring better access and optimized delivery of innovative healthcare solutions.
Serve as the regional strategy leader for Ophthalmology, implementing disease-specific and regional goals.
Develop an in-depth understanding of local patient pathways, customer needs, and health system structures.
Foster relationships with healthcare professionals and decision-makers to improve access and patient outcomes.
Construct and present regional strategies and KPIs in partnership with the Disease Community Lead (DCL).
Lead initiatives that impact customer engagement and brand performance across multiple healthcare systems.
Identify local and national brand advocates and support them in spreading awareness and adoption.
Maintain a detailed awareness of NHS policy, funding streams, and regional opportunities for brand growth.
Use agile methodologies (e.g., sprint planning, MVP) for project delivery and iterative improvement.
Leverage data insights to inform strategies and develop new collaborative partnerships.
Act as a champion of positive customer experience and service innovation.
Experience in the pharmaceutical industry, ideally with ophthalmology exposure.
Strong understanding of UK healthcare systems, particularly NHS structures, funding, and policy.
Demonstrated success in service redesign or patient pathway optimization.
Effective communication, negotiation, and partnership skills.
Experience in managing cross-functional projects and strategic planning.
Results-driven with a passion for improving patient outcomes.
