Description:
Red Snapper Recruitment is hiring a Domestic Abuse Referrals and Services Manager to oversee and enhance support for victims of violence and abuse. This role involves managing a team, maintaining efficient referral systems, and delivering high-quality services while fostering a trauma-informed environment.
Key Responsibilities:

Team Management:
- Supervise referral and advice team, including SPOCs, duty support workers, administrators, and volunteers.
- Conduct regular team meetings, supervisions, and appraisals.

Referral Oversight:
- Ensure timely processing of referrals via email, phone, online platforms, and safeguarding hubs (MASH/MARAC).

Victim Support & Risk Assessment:
- Provide initial contact, help, and advice.
- Assess risks for victims and ensure safety protocols are followed.

Performance Management:
- Monitor and analyze team performance, trends, and support needs.
- Prepare reports for internal and external use.

Service Improvement:
- Implement feedback mechanisms in line with the Lived Experience Policy.
- Develop creative ways to enhance services using peer and user feedback.

Environment Management:
- Maintain trauma-informed, safe, and welcoming client areas.

Compliance:
- Ensure adherence to data protection regulations, BCWA policies, and relevant legislation.
- Represent the organization in local, regional, and national strategies/events.
Requirements:

Education:
- Minimum Level 3 qualification in health and social care or related fields.
- Training as an Independent Domestic Abuse Advocate is advantageous.

Skills & Competencies:
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Proficient in report writing, evaluation, and public presentations.
- Familiarity with managing employment matters and team well-being.
- Knowledge of safeguarding procedures and trauma management.

Additional Criteria:
- Valid driving license with access to a vehicle.
- Female applicants only (service-user requirements).
- Subject to a DBS check.
