Description:
Do you love all things conservation and zoology and want to help ignite the passion for conservation in all our visitors and students? Maybe you have experience developing and delivering innovative workshops and activities or you’re already an experienced teacher looking for a new challenge outside of term time.
Working here feels pretty outstanding and our Education and School team are fizzing with fun and a vital ingredient in the guest experience! Therefore, we’re looking for someone who strives for the best, is guest focused, and isn't afraid to swim upstream.
What we are looking for
Working within the Guest Experience department you’ll be working with school visits, self-guided tours, workshops for schools, or even giving daily creature presentations. You may also find yourself assisting the site displays team with animal feeds.
You’ll also develop and deliver a range of exiting, curriculum linked workshops, resources, and projects for educational groups. Ensuring our schools programmes are up-to-date, accurate and complement the wider delivery of our mission and meet the changing needs of schools.
This is a seasonal position, contracted until November 2023. Flexibility is essential as availability of work will vary throughout the season.
