Description:
Oxford Outcomes, part of the Outcomes First Group, is seeking a Teaching Assistant to join the dedicated team at Upton Grange School in Slough. This role provides a fantastic opportunity to start a rewarding career in education and make a tangible difference in the lives of pupils with Autism and often additional needs.
The Teaching Assistant will provide hands-on support to pupils’ bespoke learning journeys, assisting with classroom activities, preparing learning resources, and contributing to pupils’ emotional and physical wellbeing. You will support children aged 3–11 in an Early Years, Key Stage 1, and Key Stage 2 setting, ensuring a nurturing environment that promotes confidence, independence, and positive relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
Support pupils with their individual learning plans and goals.
Assist in preparing and delivering engaging classroom activities and resources.
Provide hands-on support both in the classroom and outdoor learning environments.
Contribute to pupils’ social, emotional, and physical development.
Work collaboratively with teaching staff and other team members to enhance learning outcomes.
Requirements / About You:
Caring, patient, and adaptable.
Passionate about supporting pupils with Autism and additional needs.
Strong team player, eager to learn and share experiences.
Previous experience in education is welcome but not required.
Willingness to work full-time, Monday to Friday (38.5 hours per week).
