Description:
The Commissioning Engineer, reporting to the Commissioning Manager is part of a multi-disciplined team carrying out testing and validation activities in line with the Commissioning procedures. This is an excellent opportunity for someone keen to enhance their technical knowledge, engaging with our clients and take the initiative, helping to influence and shape the ways of working within the Commissioning team.

Key Responsibilities:
- Commissioning services including documentation, liaising with suppliers and facilitating contractor commissioning. Attend Factory Acceptance Testing and pre delivery inspections and assist the project team with project completions.
- Work within the team of mechanical, EICA and process engineers to develop best practice, a strong health & safety environment and value for money.
- Wastewater projects incorporating new build and refurbishment on apparatus such as inlet works, course screens with screen handling units, grit separation & classifiers, fine screens, chemical dosing, dewatering & secondary treatment plant etc
- Refurbishment and installation of new MCC’s, system integration, instrumentation, control equipment, low voltage switch gear and starters
- You will be responsible for managing your time efficiently with minimal supervision.
Candidate Specification
- Experience of installation & commissioning in utility sector and commercial building sectors desirable.
- Experience of working to electrical procedures, including providing Electrical Permits
- Experience with planning the commissioning process
- Good fault-finding skills with a meticulous health and safety approach is a core requirement for the role
- Working to safe systems of work including producing and reviewing third party Risk Assessments & Method Statements.
- Full UK driving licence
