Electronic Systems Engineer

Description:

Sapien Engineering Ltd is seeking an experienced Electronic Systems Engineer for a 3-month contract role at a well-regarded scientific instrumentation company based in High Wycombe. This is an on-site role falling inside IR35, offering a competitive hourly rate of £50/hour, with the possibility of extension beyond the initial term.

The ideal candidate will possess comprehensive experience across the full engineering lifecycle and be capable of engaging effectively with stakeholders. A deep technical foundation in electronics engineering is essential, and familiarity with scientific instrumentation is considered a significant advantage.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform electronic systems design and requirements definition.

• Contribute to all stages of the engineering lifecycle—from concept through to delivery and testing.

• Apply deep technical knowledge in electronics engineering to deliver reliable solutions.

• Engage with stakeholders to gather requirements, present solutions, and provide updates.

Candidate Requirements:

• Proven experience in electronics design and full engineering lifecycle.

• Strong foundational knowledge of electronics engineering principles.

• Prior experience in scientific instrumentation is highly desirable.

• Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
