Deliver test engineering support for manufacturing and development of weapon sub-systems.
Diagnose complex electronic system and subsystem failures, including down to circuit card/component level.
Provide input and expertise during design and development stages through to Production Readiness Review.
Generate test specifications, operator instructions, and ensure configuration control of test facilities.
Identify remedial and corrective actions promptly to support continuous manufacturing.
Evaluate technical issues and recommend process improvements and corrective actions.
Represent Test Engineering in Defect Review Board meetings, driving efficient resolution of quality notifications.
Requirements:
HNC/HND in Electronics (or equivalent qualification).
Solid experience in digital and analogue electronics manufacture and testing.
Strong understanding of measurement and test principles and related equipment.
Knowledge of CADMID product lifecycle desirable.
Familiarity with RF and microwave technology at subsystem level advantageous.
