Description:
This 12.5-month placement offers undergraduates the opportunity to develop Lean process knowledge within the Airbus Operating System (AOS). Working with experienced change-management teams, the student will support multiple functions—including Safety, Quality, Logistics, Programme Planning, and Manufacturing Engineering—while contributing to continuous improvement across A320 and A350 production lines.
Conduct detailed Value Stream Analyses to improve product flow.
Facilitate Kaizen events to identify and remove waste.
Coach operational and functional leaders on Lean standards.
Use AOS and Airbus project management tools to drive improvements.
Work autonomously as a Change Agent within a designated business area.
Support continuous improvement initiatives across product lines.
Must be an Undergraduate student for the full placement duration.
Studying toward a degree in:
Aerospace Engineering
Manufacturing Engineering
Business
Or a related field
Basic knowledge of Lean Management.
Strong teamwork ability.

Successful candidates must pass BPSS security clearance; SC clearance may be required depending on role.
