Description:

Enerveo, one of the UK’s largest contracting businesses, is seeking a CCTV Technician to support the installation, maintenance, and fault-finding of CCTV systems across Cornwall. The role includes work on street lighting, traffic signals, CCTV, highway pumps, and digital signage. Suitable for experienced CCTV technicians or qualified electricians seeking to transition into CCTV work.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install and maintain CCTV systems across towns, villages, highways, and mobile/police units

• Diagnose faults, test systems, replace and maintain equipment

• Deliver high-quality service to clients and the public

• Work at height using MEWPs and ladders

• Comply with all electrical and safety regulations

• Support the wider street lighting and infrastructure operations in Cornwall

Qualifications:
If joining via Electrician route:

• Recognised electrical qualifications (City & Guilds, AM2)

• Interest in learning CCTV systems

If joining via CCTV route:

• Proven experience with CCTV installation, maintenance, repair

• Strong technical understanding of CCTV wiring and diagnostics

For both:

• Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather

• Comfortable working at height

• Full UK driving licence

Desirable Qualifications:

• IPAF / PASMA

• 18th Edition familiarity

• Highway working qualifications

• Health & Safety certifications

• Willing to learn and develop new technical skills

• Comfortable with varied, hands-on field work

Additional Requirements:

• Full-time, Mon–Fri 8am–4pm (37 hours)

• Overtime available

• Basic DBS check required
