The successful candidate will join our Capital Investment Team as an apprentice Project Manager and help us achieve our strategic ambitions of service excellence, great value and financial sustainability and beyond net zero ambitions while working towards their BEng (Hons) Engineering: Instrumentation Measurement and Control (IMC) GA programme.
We are an ambitious team and deliver a significant portion of Scottish Water’s capital investment programme. Working in conjunction with a contractor/consultant supply chain we deliver a diverse portfolio of projects including capital maintenance, growth and diversions projects as well as a programme of investigation work to inform future investment needs.
In this role, you will learn how to:
Managing the delivery of projects and discrete programmes of mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, control and automation (MEICA) work
Be instrumental in the professional & effective management of the process whereby projects are designed, constructed, commissioned & handed over to the Client organisation in compliance with:-
Undertake Stakeholder management – Customer/ Operations etc.
Contribute to improvements in Project Management processes and systems in Capital Investment.
What you need to apply for this opportunity :
One of the following
SQA Highers at BBBB including Mathematics and Computing or;
A-Levels at BBC including Mathematics and Computing or;
Int. Baccalaureate 28 points or;
SQA HNC in a computing/engineering discipline with Engineering Mathematics 1 & 2 (or equivalent)
You will have a head start if you have already completed a relevant Foundation or Modern Apprenticeship in a related field
