Engineering Supervisor

Description:

This role is based at our Bolton depot.

Responsibilities

• Assisting to maintain and service our fleet of vehicles to both the Company’s and the Department of Transport’s exacting standards

• Fault finding and repairs to Company vehicles

• Ensuring Company health & safety policies and procedures are followed

Experience, Knowledge & Qualifications

• Applicants should have a proven track record of supervisory management and staff motivation and a customer-caring attitude to problem solving.

• Given the wide range of the role you must be able to demonstrate excellent prioritising skills, as well as decision making and organisational abilities.

• Ideally you will hold a relevant professional qualification, although consideration will be given to skilled vehicle technicians.

• A flexible approach to working times and shift patterns is required to reflect the varying needs of this challenging role.

• Possession of a Full Manual car licence is essential, and a PCV licence is preferred.

• Acting in a manner as to ensure the health, safety, welfare, environment and fire safety of yourself and others in the organisation, as well as any customers, clients, and visitors.
