Enterprise Account Executive

 

Description:

Semrush, a global leader in online marketing technology and visibility management, is seeking an Enterprise Account Executive, Benelux to join its Enterprise Central Sales Team. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with some of the world’s most influential organizations while contributing to the continued global growth of Semrush.

As an Enterprise Account Executive, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth through acquiring new customers, upselling and cross-selling existing clients, and managing renewals. This role involves working collaboratively with Sales Development, Customer Success, and Marketing teams to identify prospects, understand customer needs, and build long-term relationships with enterprise clients across the Benelux region.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive revenue growth through new customer acquisition, upselling, cross-selling, and renewals.

  • Manage the entire sales cycle from prospecting to closing, handling complex deals with multiple stakeholders.

  • Collaborate with internal teams to identify opportunities, craft account plans, and maintain a robust sales pipeline.

  • Build strong, lasting relationships with key decision-makers at enterprise-level clients.

  • Understand customer business objectives and present Semrush solutions that drive measurable marketing success.

  • Meet KPIs for call volume, demos, and outreach while maintaining personalized follow-up cadences.

  • Provide accurate sales forecasting and contribute valuable feedback to improve internal strategies.

  • Represent Semrush at events and contribute to enhancing the company’s sales playbook.

  • Handle legal, financial, and IT requirements during deal negotiations.


Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in enterprise sales, SaaS sales, or similar customer-facing roles.

  • Fluency in English and one or more local languages (Dutch, French, etc.).

  • Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and managing enterprise accounts.

  • Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.

  • Understanding of digital marketing and SEO concepts (preferred but not mandatory).

  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a fast-paced, evolving environment.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience selling to enterprise clients ($500M+ in annual revenue) in sectors such as retail, finance, SaaS, or marketing agencies.

  • Familiarity with CRM tools and data-driven sales strategies.

  • Passion for continuous learning and adapting to change in dynamic business environments.
