Working with leading international sports rights holders, motorsport federations, OEMs, championships, teams, circuits, and high-tech engineering companies, the firm designs and implements bespoke, data-driven solutions to help organizations integrate sustainability into their strategies and deliver on ambitious ESG goals.

This opportunity is a senior-level managerial position designed for sustainability professionals who want to make a meaningful impact in the motorsport and sports industries. As an ESG Impact Manager, you will play a central role in developing and implementing client sustainability strategies across short, medium, and long-term horizons. The role offers the chance to work with high-profile clients, lead impactful projects, and contribute to the growth of Enovation Consulting’s management team.

Candidates should have a proven track record in shaping and delivering sustainability strategies, including transitioning organizations toward Net Zero and embedding internationally recognized frameworks such as ISO14001. You will be expected to operate as both a strategist and a hands-on project leader, while being a trusted advisor to clients at all levels. This role requires strong stakeholder engagement, team leadership skills, and a practical ability to deliver measurable ESG results.

Key Responsibilities:

Project & Client Delivery

  • Lead ESG and sustainability projects from concept through to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.

  • Represent Enovation Consulting’s values in all client interactions, fostering transparency, trust, and long-term partnerships.

Sustainability Strategy & Implementation

  • Translate ESG goals into actionable strategies aligned with clients’ overall business objectives.

  • Set, monitor, and report on ESG KPIs and OKRs.

  • Embed sustainable practices into client operations, events, and supply chains.

  • Anticipate and integrate evolving ESG legislation, trends, and best practices.

Stakeholder Engagement

  • Build and nurture strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders (employees, regulators, suppliers, communities, and charities).

  • Design and execute stakeholder engagement plans to cultivate a sustainability-driven culture.

  • Lead workshops, training, and events to disseminate knowledge and inspire change.

Performance & Reporting

  • Deliver accurate measurement, analysis, and reporting of ESG performance data for both internal and external use.

  • Apply advanced expertise in carbon footprinting and Life Cycle Assessment.

Team Leadership

  • Manage, mentor, and develop direct reports, promoting collaboration and high performance.

  • Represent clients in sustainability working groups and cross-industry forums.

Performance Measures:

  • Delivery of objectives set through the Personal Development Review process.

  • Timely execution of business priorities for clients and the consultancy.

  • Quality of client relationships, teamwork, and people management effectiveness.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Passion for sustainability with a strong interest in sport, technology, or motorsport.

  • Minimum 5 years’ professional experience in ESG strategy delivery (preferably 5–7 years).

  • At least 3 years’ proven experience in people and client management.

  • Strong expertise in Life Cycle Assessment, carbon footprinting, and carbon reduction planning.

  • Knowledge of frameworks and standards such as ISO14001, ISO20121, CDP, SERC reporting, and environmental certifications.

  • Excellent advisory, planning, and organizational skills, with the ability to thrive in dynamic environments.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; able to simplify complex concepts for diverse stakeholders.

  • Team-oriented mindset with exceptional stakeholder management skills.

  • Fluency in English.

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Degree or MSc in sustainability, engineering, or business-related fields.

  • Second language skills (Italian preferred).

  • Experience with ECOVADIS or similar sustainable supply chain systems.
