Estimator

Description:

We’re hiring an experienced, detail-focused Estimator to join our growing steel fabrication team.

You’ll be responsible for preparing accurate, competitive quotations for structural steelwork, architectural metalwork, and bespoke fabrication projects, supporting the business in winning and delivering high-quality work.

What you’ll be doing:

• Preparing detailed cost estimates and quotations
• Reviewing drawings, specifications, and tender documentation
• Pricing materials, labour, fabrication, and subcontract costs
• Liaising with internal teams and suppliers where required
• Ensuring estimates are accurate, commercially sound, and competitive

What we’re looking for:

• Proven experience as an Estimator within steel fabrication, structural steel, or a related engineering environment
• Strong ability to read and interpret technical and structural drawings
• Excellent attention to detail and commercial awareness
• Well-organised, reliable, and confident working to deadlines

Estimating systems & software (preferred):

• Experience using steel or construction estimating systems
• Confident use of Excel for cost analysis and pricing
• Ability to adapt quickly to internal estimating and ERP systems
