Event Facilitator

Description:

Global Education Partners is seeking a passionate and community-driven Volunteer Event Facilitator to join their mission-driven team. The role involves facilitating online roundtable discussions for educators and school leaders worldwide, fostering open dialogue, and supporting impactful professional development in international education.

The role is remote and part-time (1–2 events per month), each lasting 60–75 minutes. While this is currently an unpaid volunteer position, there is strong potential for future paid opportunities as the organisation expands its event programme and global partnerships.

The ideal candidate is someone with experience in the international school ecosystem who is confident, empathetic, and enthusiastic about collaborative dialogue in education. This is a unique opportunity to work with a globally focused team, build meaningful relationships in the education sector, and shape the direction of a growing educational platform.

Key Responsibilities:

• Facilitate or co-host 1–2 virtual events per month (each lasting approximately 60–75 minutes).

• Create inclusive, engaging, and well-paced discussions among participants.

• Support pre-event coordination and post-event debriefs alongside the core team.

• Optionally contribute to writing post-event summaries shared with partners and schools.

Candidate Requirements:

• Background in or connection to international education, especially with virtual PD or facilitation experience.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to foster trust in online conversations.

• Passion for elevating educator voices and improving global collaboration in education.
