Description:
Deliver exceptional client events across EMEA for the financial sector, managing all aspects of event planning and execution. Act as the main liaison between client stakeholders and external suppliers, ensuring events meet objectives, timelines, and budgets. Contribute ideas, solutions, and operational expertise to enhance event delivery.
Consult with stakeholders to gather requirements and define event objectives.
Manage external vendors and suppliers: sourcing, negotiating, contracting, and event delivery.
Handle full financial responsibility of events: budget preparation, management, and reconciliation.
Negotiate rates, terms, and conditions on behalf of clients to maximize value.
Prepare and manage all event documentation (risk assessments, schedules, compliance, running orders, post-event checklists).
Plan and execute events in the UK and overseas as required.
Strong communication skills: listening, written, and verbal.
Ability to instill confidence in clients through event expertise.
Meeting technology proficiency (Cvent advantageous).
Excellent attention to detail and budget management skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Ability to manage multiple projects and timelines simultaneously.
Willingness to travel within the UK and overseas.
Experience planning events specifically for the financial sector.
