Events Marketing Director

Description:

We’re recruiting an Events Marketing Director for an International B2B Conference and Exhibitions business. Our client produces and delivers their own commercial business events around the world. Their physical events are big, attracting 1000’s of senior level business decision makers, 100’s of blue chip companies sponsoring and exhibiting.

What will you be doing as an Event Marketing Director?

• Contribute and share solutions for the event business plan
• Provide strategic input into marketing plans and ensure their quality and delivery
• Work to KPIs across attendance and engagement
• Take the lead on hiring, training and coaching marketers
• Oversee the direct marketing and social media strategy
• Improve and report on the effectiveness of the marketing campaigns
• Write clear, persuasive, compelling content for websites, emails, sales collateral, social media, newsletters, and blogs
• Work with internal teams to ensure the attendee growth targets are achieved
• Research and secure relationships with leading media partners and the press
• Plan and execute a marketing campaign for events
• Work with the MD to create marketing budgets and deliver on these
• Ensure event brand guidelines are followed
• Assist with additional marketing projects when needed
