Description:

Guggenheim Securities, the investment banking and capital markets division of Guggenheim Partners, is actively seeking a highly motivated Experienced Analyst or Junior Associate to join their Technology, Media & Telecom (TMT) Investment Banking Group based in London.

This is a full-time, on-site opportunity, primarily focused on advising high-profile clients across Europe in the dynamic and fast-evolving TMT sector. The London-based team plays a vital role in Guggenheim's global TMT franchise and leads complex financial transactions including M&A advisory, equity and debt financing, private capital raises, joint ventures, and restructurings.

As a key member of lean deal teams, the candidate will gain direct exposure to senior bankers and clients while contributing to strategic transactions. The firm places strong emphasis on professional growth, innovation, and inclusivity, offering robust formal and on-the-job training in M&A processes, valuation, financial modeling, presentation skills, negotiation, and executive communication.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and support the execution of M&A and financing deals in the TMT space

  • Create and structure client presentations and pitch books

  • Develop and maintain advanced financial models and valuation outputs

  • Prepare key transaction documentation such as management presentations, lender decks, and fairness opinions

  • Drive due diligence processes and market/industry research

  • Collaborate with clients, internal teams, legal and financial advisors throughout transaction lifecycles

  • Support business development initiatives with strategic frameworks and sector insights

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree (minimum requirement)

  • At least 2 years of experience in investment banking or M&A advisory

  • Proficiency in financial modeling, valuation techniques, and transaction execution

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Deep technical and analytical expertise with attention to detail

  • Proven experience interacting with senior executives and clients

  • Self-starter mindset with strong multitasking and time management skills

  • Excellent communication (written and verbal) skills

  • Demonstrated interest in technology and digital infrastructure sectors

Work Environment:
This role is primarily on-site in London, with an expectation to be in the office at least 4 days a week. The candidate will be working in a fast-paced, high-performance culture with a strong emphasis on merit-based progression, collaboration, and innovation.
